toulouse + sheila’s story:
private training + canine good citizen (group classes)
“thanks to rebecca’s expertise it is evident that training can save your precious pup’s life.
it has been a few years but we are still reaping from the benefits of what she taught us. in two instances, we have averted what could have been real tragic and unfortunate incidents.
about a month or so ago, our front door was inadvertently left open. i looked everywhere for him and immediately, i thought he ran out.
to my surprise, he was waiting by the steps with our front door wide open. we live on an extremely busy street and if he ran out, i would not even know where to start looking for him. i just could not believe that he stayed waiting. during training, rebecca taught us to have him wait on the mat before heading out.
then, a few weekends ago, we were out on our daily walks and i was using a new martingale collar. the collar came off while we were on a busy street. i kept calm and asked toulouse to wait.
a couple of times he started to dart and then would stop. my fear was if he ran away from the curb, he would get run over.
i tried to keep as composed as i could and i asked him to wait. to my surprise, toulouse waited and let me come over so i can slip the collar back on him.
i was so shaken up, but it again dawned on me that his proper training has helped us once more.
i am very thankful to rebecca and cannot stress how happy i am that we have used her to train toulouse.
i love him so much and could not imagine if something tragic would have happened to him.
she truly makes the world a better place, one dog at a time! we will forever be grateful!”
