private training

we tailor each private training program to you and your dog’s unique needs. no physical "corrections," choke or prong collars, yelling, reprimands or fear-based techniques. our positive reinforcement training helps create calm, confident, happy dogs.

we can help you with:

• basic manners - sit, recall (come),  down,  stay, loose leash walking/heel, leave it,  drop it, off
• leash reactivity - helping you deal with your dogs that lunge, bark, growl at other dogs, skateboards, people, cars, while on leash
• dealing with separation anxiety and destructive behaviors
• puppies - housebreaking (crate training), socialization, chewing, confidence-building
• becoming a therapy dog - honing those basic skills with the goal of passing your therapy dog test
• friend-finding - help your pup make some new pals with our facilitated playdates

we also offer a special program called "wag, walk and train" designed for exclusively for leash reactive dogs, dogs who need special attention and skills to handle stressors that cause them anxiety while on their regular daily walks. Sometimes it's a skateboard, another dog, people, trucks, motorcycles — we'll find out and will work one-on-one with your dog. this program is offered to dogs living in the south bay of los angeles who have attended our group classes or have had our private training.
